School Workshops

Teaching First Aid to Children across The UK

About This Course

More than 90% of school students would like to learn about first aid in school, and developing these crucial skills at an early stage can only make the classroom a safer place. At Community Education Skills 4 Life, in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, we know that first aid for children is more than just teaching them how to stick a plaster on. During our first aid training course for schools, pupils are taught the importance of staying calm in an emergency and how and when to use the life-saving skills they acquire. The course acts as a basic introduction to first aid, giving students grounding in managing an incident and the most commonly needed first aid skills. It is ideal for young people, aged 9 years old and above, in schools and youth organisations. The children do not need any prior experience or knowledge of first aid to benefit from the course.
