About This Course
GP Basic Life Support The UK Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) sets out 11 statutory and mandatory topics for all staff working in health and social care settings. the CSTF includes notionally agreed learning outcomes and training delivery standards. All staff should understand their role as part of a team response to resuscitation. All staff, including nonclinical, should undergo regular training in adult and child resuscitation Face to Face Trainin Clinical staff should be able to: Recognise cardio-respiratory arrest, call for help & start CPR with defibrillation as appropriate. All staff should receive regular training updates at an appropriate frequency to maintain their competency. BLS for GPs Course Content Duration 3 Hours Ofqual Regulated Certificate valid for 1 year Chain of survival Assessing an incident Casualty assessment Managing an unresponsive casualty Recovery position CPR BVM & Oxygen AED protocol with Oxygen & AED Using an AED on a child Airway adjuncts OPA, NPA. Procedures for when Emergency Services arrive. Multiple Choice Question paper (AO directed)
